Update on the Hardwick Town School Board Potential Bond: As many of you are aware your Hardwick town school board is looking at a bond in the near future. We are currently in the last year of our only bond at Hardwick Elementary. It is crucial to keep up with maintenance of the building and grounds. For several years we have been discussing redoing the parking lot that has been in rough shape and is at the point where patching is no longer an option . The bond will also include new sidewalks and side stairs as well as replacing both side doors that are currently about 30 years old. The biggest change to our grounds will be a new entrance and small lobby that will insure nobody coming into our building can get to classrooms without being checked in by staff. We look forward to having a couple of informational meetings to discuss our projects and if you have any questions please feel free to contact myself at firstname.lastname@example.org or any other Hardwick Town School Board member.
Congratulations Beth LeCours! The Hardwick Town School Board congratulates art teacher Beth LeCours on being recognized as an UVM Outstanding Teacher in 2016. Mrs. LeCours' creativity and variety of art lessons and projects enable her to meet the diverse needs and interests of HES students. Her art integration work with our classroom teachers enhances their lessons and allows students to look at their academic work with a different perspective. Mrs. LeCours is a wonderful asset to our school, and we're glad to see her hard work and skill recognized at a state level.
Join the HTSD Board: We currently have one open seat on our board. If you're interested in joining our board, come to a meeting, read more about the volunteer position, and/or email us at email@example.com. Appointed positions will serve until next town meeting day, March 7, 2017.
